HOW TO USE THIS PEPTIDE CALCULATOR

What is peptide reconstitution?

Peptide reconstitution is the process of mixing a lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide powder with a sterile solvent, typically bacteriostatic water, to create an injectable solution. Most research peptides are shipped as a dry powder in a sealed vial and must be reconstituted before use. Getting the ratio of peptide to water correct is essential for accurate dosing.

Why you need a reconstitution calculator

Manual math mistakes during reconstitution can lead to incorrect dosing. A reconstitution calculator removes the guesswork by computing the exact volume of bacteriostatic water you need based on your vial size, target dose, and preferred syringe draw volume. Enter three values and get your answer instantly, with no sign-up required.

How bacteriostatic water works

Bacteriostatic water (bac water) is sterile water that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth, which allows the reconstituted peptide solution to be stored and used over multiple doses rather than being discarded after a single use. It is the standard solvent recommended for reconstituting most peptides.

Common peptides this calculator supports

This calculator works with any peptide that requires reconstitution, including popular compounds such as BPC-157, Semaglutide, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, TB-500, and many others. Simply enter the total milligrams in your vial and your desired dose, and the calculator handles the rest.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does this calculator do?
This calculator helps you determine how much bacteriostatic water to add when reconstituting a peptide vial. You input your vial size, desired dose, and preferred draw amount, and it calculates the exact water volume, resulting concentration, and number of doses per vial.
How is the bacteriostatic water amount calculated?
The formula works backwards from your desired draw amount. It calculates the water volume needed so that when you draw your chosen number of syringe units, you get exactly your target dose. The formula is: bac water (mL) = (vial mg x draw units) / (dose mg x 100).
Do I need an account to use this?
No. This calculator is completely free, runs in your browser, and requires no sign-up. Your inputs are not stored anywhere.
